10-26-17 will be the 2017 Season Closer on the Trinity River in Downtown Ft. Worth

Alright everyone. Tomorrow 10-26-17 will be the last event of the year for the Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament. This will be held in downtown Ft. Worth on the Trinity River. We will all meet before and after under the Henderson St. Bridge. Big Bass will be $10 like in previous years just to make it interesting. Dan Onstot from Reno Reds/Bass Republic will be out there with Taco's and some Gift Certificates to Reno's. Aris Tsamis from Mariner Sail's also wants everyone to know there will be something special other than the Gift Certificate to the shop.  Also this will be the last event for everyone to try to beat this month's Big Bass Challenge sponsored by RelentlessBassFishing, which is currently only at 16.5!!!! The person to beat this will bring home a brand new G Loomis E6X Baitcasting rod!!! See everyone there!!!

Results for 10-12-17 and Lake Announcement for 10-19-17

Here are the results for 10-12-17 on Lake Arlington! We had 15 Anglers show up to Lake Arlington, and the fish wasn't ready..LOL. 8 fish were caught. Congrats to Jesse Banda for taking home the win with a 2 fish stringer @ 24.5".  He takes home a $50 Gift Certificate to Mariner Sails. Also a huge congrats to Glynn Williams for winning bigbass with a Monster 14" fish!!! LOL! He takes home $75 for the big bass pot. This week we are going back to Marine Creek for that big cool weather bite!!! This month the Mariner Sail's Working Man's is still sponsored by Relentless Bass Fishing!!! Results for 9-28-17 and lake announcement for 10-5-17

Alright boys and girls, days are getting shorter and there will not be many more days of the Mariner Sail's Working Man's left for 2017. Marine Creek was full of surprises this day. Congrats to Santos Zepeda for bringing in the only limit of 5 fish standing at 59.5". Sadly he got beat out by an inch by Jeremy Curtiss with a 4 fish stringer @ 60.5"!!! Jeremy takes home a $50 gift certificate to Mariner Sail's!!! Huge congrats to Matt Scotch!! He won big bass with a 22.5" fish! He took home about $100 and also had the biggest bass of the month, which also won him a sweet G-Loomis E-X6 spinning rod from RelentlessBassFishing!!!! We had 11 anglers show up to Grapevine 9-21-17. Congrats to Cameron  Hairston for wining big bass with a 17.5” fish!  Darrin Wiiliams won 1st place with 3 fish @ 40.25”, and takes home a $50 gift certificate to Mariner Sails! This week we will be going to Marine Creek!! Also remember Chris Shaddle/ Relentless Bass Fishing is sponsoring the Mariner Sail’s Working Man’s this month and is giving away a G-loomis E-6x spinning rod for biggest bass of the month!!! Results for 9-7-17 and Lake Announcement for 9-14-17

Alright everyone, we had a great turn out last week for the Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament on Marine Creek! Congrats to Santos Zepeda for taking the win with 4 fish @ 56.50" and taking home a $50 gift certificate to Mariner Sails. Also congrats to Darren Williams on his Big Bass win with a 19" fish. He took home $125 for Big Bass!!! Here are the results for the rest of the field.


We also have a special announcement!!! We have teamed up with Chris Shaddle of Relentless Bass Fishing to do monthly give aways again!!! So this month Chris wanted to share the wealth and make thing a bit more interesting. Results for 8-24-17 Trinity and Lake Announcement for 8-31-17

Sorry for the late post guys, as you all know things are pretty hectic in Texas right now. Here are the results for the Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament from 8-24-17 on the Trinity. Congrats on Brian Sisk for the win of 2 fish for 26.5"!! That says a lot for fishing in chocolate milk. That win gets him a $50 Gift Certificate to Mariner Sails. Also congrats to Tracy Dougan for taking home big bass with his 16.25" fish. This week's event will be held on Lake Grapevine. We will be meeting at the Sand Bass Ramp. Okay boys and girls, here are the results for Bachman 7-13-17. We had 12 guys show up, 2 of them new. Yes, Bachman fished slow!!! But a few guys did catch fish... small, but they caught fish.. LOL. Congrats to a new angler fishing with us Bart Wickard for taking home the win with the biggest fish. He took home $60 BB and $50 to Mariner Sails. Also this week for 7-20-17 we will be meeting here at Grapevine Lake. See everyone there. 6-22-17 Results and Lake Joe Pool for 6-28-17

Here are the results for 6-22-17 Lake White Rock!!! We had 23 anglers show up this time to White Rock!! This is the most ever!!! Congrats to Rudy for his first tourney win on a tough lake!! He had a stringer of 3 fish for a total of 40.5", and took home the $50 Gift Card to Mariner Sails. Also congrats to Tracy "TwoFish" Dougan for big bass at 18" and he took home $90! With such a good turn out, we will be back to White Rock again soon. As for this week, we will be going to Joe Pool, but we have to do it on a Wednesday! Also, Santos is the top contender for the "Mariner Sail's Champions" Koozie this month. But last I heard he was in Florida this week. See everyone at Lynn Creek Marina tomorrow at 6pm!!!

Results for 6-8-17 and Lake announcement for 6-15-17

Alright boys and girls, huge congrats to Santos for taking the win in last week's event!! He won with 84.5" and also had a nice 21.25" fish for Big Bass. So he took home the $50 GC to Mariner Sail's and also $115 for big bass!!! Way to go Santos!!! We had a total of 29 guy show up and boy was it a slow day on Marine Creek. 5-31-17 Results and 6-8-17 Lake

Sorry for the late post. Congrats to Bill Heishman for winning the Mariner Sail's working man's last week with a 57.75 stringer and he also took home Big Bass with a 20.25" fish!!! I think this is Bill's first win, so I see the fire is burning to see how he does on another lake!!!
So for this week's Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament we thought it would be interesting to see how everyone will do on Marine Creek!!! There have been multiple reports of 10+lb bass pulled outta this small lake in the last couple of weeks alone. Lets get it done!!! See everyone there tomorrow!!!

Hey everyone, sorry for the late update. Been a crazy weekend with my daughter's graduation and all. So here are the results for last week's Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament on Joe Pool. Congrats to Daniel McNeely for taking home the win with the biggest stringer of 64". He takes home the $50 Gift Certificate to Mariner Sail's. Also congrats to Vernon Stover for taking home $105 Big Bass pot for his huge 24.75" fish!!! So.. this Thursday's weather does not look like it's cooperating. This week's Tournament will be on Joe Pool

Okay boys and girls, this week will be the last Working Man's for the Month of May! That means the one with the most points by the end of Thursday will be taking home the Mariner Sail's Champion Koozie!!! Looks like there is a 3 way tie for 1st between Jacob, Ryan (Tennessee), and Lloyd with Cameron and Santos a close 2nd. It still could be anyone's game and someone (like Tracy #2Fish Dougan) from the middle of the pack can come in with a clean sweep and take Koozie home. We will have our last event on Lake Joe Pool, at Lynn Creek Marina parking lot. See everyone there!

Results for 5-18-17 The Trinity

Man, so the weather held up all evening. We had a little wind, but rain was no where to be seen. Too bad it scared a few guys away. We knew it was going to be windy going into the week, and the rain was spotty and the forcast for it changed every couple of hours. We had 14 angler show up to play today. Congrats to Jacob Taylor of Clearfork Custom Jigs for taking home the win with the only limit at 70.5". He took home the $50 Mariner Sail's Gift Card and 2 tacos from Dan Onstot at Bass Republic. I'm glad to see Glen finally realizing that you always put in for BB after this past weekend's feed the homeless where he didn't get paid for his BB. He took home the$70 Big Bass pot tonight with a 17.5" fish. As always, huge thanks to Aris @ Mariner Sail's and Roy Hurst Jr. from KJ's Custom Lures.

Results for 5-11-17 Lake Arlington

We had 28 Anglers show up to this week's Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament! A total of 22 fish caught between them.. tough bite for some. Heard lots of stories of bigguns shaking them off. Looks like we might look at going to Arlington a few more times this year after all. Congrats to Lloyd for taking home the win and the $50 Mariner Sail's Giftcard with the only limit at 72".  Also congrats to #TwoFishDougan for taking home the Big Bass pot of $130 with his 20" fatty. Results for 5-4-17 Lake Grapevine

Okay everyone, huge thanks for the 13 guys that made it out to Lake Grapevine last night. It was windy as heck! Congrats to Ryan Lambert from Tennessee for taking the win with a 5 fish limit of 63" and taking home the $50 gift certificate to Mariner Sails. Cameron Hairston started out strong with a 20.75" fish for the Big Bass win taking home $55. Dan Onstot, those quail tacos were awesome!

Well, Marine Creek sure was fun!! Congrats to Tracy Dougan for taking home the win with the only limit. Mariner Sail's Working Man's 4-20-17 Results

Mariner Sail's Working Man's 4-20-17 Results:

It was a beautiful evening to be on the water!!! We had 31 anglers show up to this weeks Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament. Not a whole lot of fish caught, but there was 2 limits submitted. Everyone had fun, and Dan Onstot brought some awesome tacos! Congratulations to Tracy Dougan for taking 1st yet again and putting the $50 Mariner Sail's Gift Certificate back into the raffle so others can enjoy it again! Tyler Smith, the guy who caught the "other" limit won the $50 gift card in the raffle.. LOL. Thanks to Jason Delfraisse, who donated a few packages of Gambler baits to the raffle. 4-13-17 Results!!

Sorry this is late folks, I forgot my flash drive at work.. doh!!! Congrats to Tracy Dougan for the clean sweep!!! He won with a 5 fish limit of 77" and also took home $150 for his 18.5" big bass!!!  He was a very good sport and put the $50 Mariner Sail's Gift Card back into the raffle!!! Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament 4-13-17

All right boys and girls, for this week we are hoping to be able to do the Mariner Sail's Working Man's on 4-13-17 on the Trinity in downtown Ft. Worth. This is still up in the air, since we are still getting spotty reports of heavy thunderstorms in the next few days. If it rains heavily on Wednesday, I will change it to another lake because who knows what the current will be for Thursday on that river. So for the time being it will be on the Trinity! Meet up at the Henderson Bridge!!

4-6-17 Mariner Sail's Working Man's Results

Last night at the Mariner Sail's Thursday Night Working Man's... We had 29 Anglers show up to play at Grapevine!! It was a beautiful day... just not a lot of fish were caught.. lol. Here are the results.

Congrats to Guillermo for the biggest stringer and taking home the $50 Mariner Sail's Gift Card. You know it's a tough night when the G man only catches 2 fish for 30 inches. Also congrats to Dakota Long for winning big bass and taking home $130. Stephen Mitchall wins the  raffle for the NASCAR tickets for this weekend from Dan Onstot @ Reno Reds. First Mariner Sail's Working Man's 3-22-17 Results



 

The first Mariner Sail's Working Man's Tournament went off with a bang!!! We had 44 anglers show up, after having to reschedule the tournament a couple of times because of various reasons. Here are last nights results:
  

Congrats to John Stockman for taking 1st with 76"!!! There was not a whole lot of fish caught, but boy were they quality fish!!! We had 4 fish over 20" today!!! Thats amazing!!! Congrats to Thomas Thacker for winning big bass with a 23.25" fish and taking home over $200!!! We will combine the points from this month and next for the Mariner Sails Championship Koozie since this will not be a full month of fishing.
